10 Ideas Series

Spanning a set of issues as diverse as our generation itself, our 10 Ideas Series and other chapter journals demonstrate the degree and depth of engagement that the Millennial generation has with pressing issues of all sorts. Roosevelt encourages broad thinking and concise writing, honing each article to a form suitable for presentation to a policymaker at any level of government.

Some are tailored specifically to the local level; others are more suitable for federal legislation. All of them reflect the sound thinking of a thoughtful, engaged constituency that is too often asked for its energy, but not its ideas.

Solve Policy Expo

The  annual Solve Policy Expo demonstrates how local, student-generated policy initiatives can improve communities across the country and inject fresh, innovative policy ideas into the national political discourse. It's how we, as a generation, are designing the future.

Students have the opportunity to present their ideas to a room of peers and experts in the field to talk through critiques and make connections.

White Papers

White papers can be the long form of a 10 ideas piece. These are major works of policy research, usually 20-30 pages long. Publishing a white paper through Roosevelt is a great way for chapter members to share their senior honors theses with the broader policy community.
